From photograph to painting to print, my "Oyster Flower" design is a core element of my senior thesis collection, "Mother of Pearl." This original print has been applied to both silk charmeuse and silk chiffon fabrics, examples of which are shown below.  Inspired by vintage silk scarves, I set out to create a design that feels both bold and timeless. Drawing from the natural palette and intricate surfaces of ocean shells, the print embodies the collection’s deeper inspiration: the quiet, organic beauty found along the water’s edge.
